Janhvi Kapoor Takes Jibe At Ap Dhillon-tara Sutaria Row, Advises Veer Pahariya 'never Take Her To A Concert'

On the latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9, Janhvi Kapoor got candid about a number of topics, including her relationship with beau Shikhar Pahariya. She revealed that she was officially in a relationship with Shikhar and even had some playful dating advice for Shikhar's brother Veer Pahariya, in wake of his split with Student of the Year 2 star Tara Sutaria. The actress also opened up about possible wedding plans between her and Shikhar and noted that the couple had a strong relationship that navigated through several things over the past few years.

Janhvi Kapoor's playful dating advice for Veer Pahariya

One of Karan's questions for Janhvi during the rapid-fire round was what dating advice she would give Shikhar's brother, Sky Force star Veer Pahariya. She joked and said, "Never take her to a concert." The actress was referring to Veer's ex-girlfriend Tara Sutaria. The couple had been dating for nearly a year before they split. While Veer and Tara never revealed the main reason why they decided to break up, the row that emerged after they attended AP Dhillon's Mumbai concert in December 2026 might have something to do with it.

During the concert, Tara joined the singer on stage for a performance; AP Dhillon hugged and gave Tara a kiss on the cheek. During the interaction, netizens noted that Veer looked very uncomfortable by himself in the crowd. After the concert, Tara had alluded to the row being drummed up by false narratives, “clever editing” and paid PR campaigns, while Veer had commented that the reaction footage of him was taken during another song. Nevertheless, the couple announced their breakup soon after in January 2026.

Janhvi Kapoor on her marriage plans with Shikhar Pahariya

After confirming her relationship on the Koffee couch with Shikhar, Janhvi also spoke about if marriage was on the cards soon. The actress replied, "Not for another two-three years for sure." Karan later stated that she and Shikhar were still together after other couples around them, such as Janhvi's siblings Arjun Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, broke up with their respective partners, and Veer parted ways with Tara. Janhvi replied, "But we managed with each other even through our own separate breakups with other people. We are good at managing."

Janhvi's upcoming films include Lag Jaa Gale, Jackie and Raaka. She is said to be shooting for Umesh Bist's next with co-stars Sreeleela and Siddharth Gupta.
