Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of domestic violence allegations.

During Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, cast member Erika Jayne dropped a bombshell. While discussing Denise Richards’ messy divorce and domestic abuse allegations, Erika shared a secret. She revealed that following her split with estranged husband, Tom Girardi, she was the victim of domestic abuse.

“You have no idea how shameful it is to be the mother of a police officer, and have to pick up the phone and call 911,” Erika stated during the episode. Now, more information is allegedly coming to light about that incident.

When Erika shared her story, she explained that the abuse “happened more than once. The third time, I was just like, ‘This is not for me.’”

According to TMZ, law enforcement insiders stated that on September 20, 2024, a male suspect, who was a friend of Erika’s, reportedly gained entry to Erika’s home. The suspect was allegedly located in a bedroom, resulting in a call to the police department when the male refused to leave. The sources stated that the police took a domestic violence report.

In addition, during an interview in January 2025, Erika offered some interesting dating advice. “They put masks on to present the best version of themselves in the first six, nine months. It’s when that is over that you start to see who the people are,” Erika stated. “Look for that.”

Meanwhile, Erika’s friend and former co-star, Lisa Rinna, praised Erika for sharing her story. “I’m very pleased that she came out and did that because that helps women,” Lisa stated. “That helps other women.”

TMZ reached out to Erika’s reps but has not heard back.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
