Travis Kelce Gives Dating Advice Amid Taylor Swift Wedding Planning

For those lonely hearts looking for love, Travis Kelce is here to help. The NFL star, engaged to pop icon Taylor Swift, was taking calls on the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason, a former NFL center.

The pair created a special hotline where one person asked for dating advice. Travis said figuring out what she likes is the key to getting in. He calls that an ideal way to start off with someone. From there, hopefully things can blossom. Jason is married to Kylie Kelce, and the pair have four daughters.

Taking that first step can often be the hardest; thus, Travis’s advice is just to go for it. “You just gotta just gotta do it, man,” he told the caller on New Heights. He adds that it’s never a bad idea to have other plans in mind, depending on where things lead. “Have something in the back pocket,” he adds. Having a particular place in mind for a date, Travis believes, would be beneficial.

Jason, for his part, said there is no silver bullet to help with this. His advice is just be straightforward and ask someone out if that’s what you want. Travis says that the worst that can happen is they shoot you down.

The advice offered by the Kelce boys comes as Travis prepares to tie the knot with Taylor. In September, the tight end joked that the planning would be easy compared to catching a football. This came after he’d made a critical drop in a Kansas City Chiefs loss last season.

Travis famously took a chance on Taylor in 2023 while attending one of her Eras tour concerts. He later said how upset he was not to be able to meet her and give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it. The podcast comment led to the two going out, and falling in love. Taylor says they started hanging out right after that.
