I started working with Ingrid in November 2021. She was suffering from hip pain, the cartilage between the head of her femur and the pelvis was completely consumed, moving “bone-on-bone” and was starting to create cracks on her pelvis.

On January 2022 she underwent an hip replacement surgery. The surgery helped alleviate the pain allowing her to be more upright again and not leaning on to one side so heavily. On the other hand after she came out of the physio clinic she was able to walk only with two crutches, but since the protocol was complete the physios were ok to dismiss her and leave her walking with crutches. But Ingrid wanted to walk on her own so she came to FP.

Cutting the glute to replace the hip had left her pelvis very unstable and her glute weak. We had to regress exercises to the point of performing them laying on a table and worked our way up from there.

She has been very focused and consistent with our sessions and she is now able to walk again without any assistance, has more stability in her pelvis and has more drive coming from the arms. It’s great to see the progress she’s been able to make even at 83 years old.

“Before training with Pietro I had pains that wouldn’t go away in both hips(also the non-operated one). It’s been months now without feeling any pain, sometimes I’m fatigued but never in pain. On a scale from 1-10 pain was probably 8 at the beginning while now It is 0. My muscles were really atrophied,I was walking badly and my back hurt. I was hurting even when turning in bed at night. I don’t know how to thank him enough, he really helped me much.
