What You'll Do

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our expanding team. You will be part of a highly collaborative group, providing crucial technical product expertise to potential customers and supporting our sales team. Your role will involve creating strong technical first impressions of our product platform, detailing product capabilities, and offering insightful guidance on improving customer security postures.

Responsibilities:

Partner with customers to enhance their security posture.
Review and highlight potential security issues to customers' technical teams, positioning Huntress as the solution.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams to convey customer needs.
Identify opportunities for improvement in a dynamic environment.
Be available to travel approximately 15% of the time for customer meetings.

What You Bring To The Team:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or related role.
Experience in the cybersecurity industry, with familiarity in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF and Mitre ATT&CK.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of presenting to diverse external audiences, including C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with or within Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and/or Value-Added Resellers (VARs).
Experience with Microsoft security solutions like Microsoft Defender and Defender for Endpoint/Business.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Experience in building and implementing Security Programs.
Familiarity with MSP tools like Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA).
Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis.
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Consultative Selling, or Spin Selling.
