Healthline Media announced the winners of the first-ever 2026 Healthline Awards on September 29. The awards recognize more than two dozen outstanding health and wellness products, a collaboration with Fullspan Health, a B2B healthcare platform under Healthline’s parent company, RVO Health.

Healthline is widely regarded as a reliable source of consumer-focused health information amid rising health misinformation and unsubstantiated product claims. Millions of readers rely on Healthline for medically accurate content to make informed decisions about their health.

The Healthline Awards products were evaluated with the same high-caliber expert medical review and editorial rigor synonymous with Healthline Media’s evidence-based health content.

To that end, 56% of surveyed Healthline readers say recommendations from health experts matter most when purchasing products. What’s more,82% of consumers say they value websites that combine trusted information with actionable tools.

Product testing for 2026 Healthline Awards

The products included in the inaugural Healthline Awards were evaluated by Healthline’s Medical Standards and Insights team. This helped to ensure that products met Healthline’s rigorous standards.

Each product and its manufacturer were assessed for key criteria, including:

product composition
potential for harm
company integrity
transparency around safety and quality
whether health claims are supported by evidence

Products that met Healthline’s medical, brand, and content integrity standards underwent hands-on testing using objective evaluation criteria developed in collaboration with medical experts.

Testing criteria and minimum testing periods varied by category to assess quality, functionality, ease of use, value, transparency, and performance. For instance, additional testing criteria were given for certain products, including supplements and CBD.

“Consumers may know what’s popular or well marketed, but they deserve to know which health and wellness products truly stand up to medical rigor,” said Robin Hough, SVP of Content and Editor-in-Chief, Healthline.

“We look at ingredient safety, whether claims are supported by current clinical research, and how transparent the company is about the product,” Hough said. “If a product clears those standards, our editors then put it to the test using an objective, hands-on review process and scoring criteria.”
