Alexandra Brinton Joins Mba As Vice President And Cfo

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced Friday that Alexandra Brinton joined the trade group as vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, Brinton will oversee MBA’s managerial accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and risk management.

“I am excited to welcome Alexandra to MBA. Her proven track record of strengthening associations and organizations through thoughtful, disciplined financial leadership makes her an excellent addition to our team,” Peter J. Grace, MBA’s chief administrative officer and senior vice president of industry education and technology, said in a statement.

“She brings a strategic mindset, strong operational rigor, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach that will be a real asset to our association as we further strengthen our financial operations in today’s market environment.”

Brinton is a certified public accountant who brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial management experience across for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Brinton most recently served as controller at the American Association of Airport Executives. Her prior roles include controller at NCTA – The Internet & Television Association, The Conservation Fund and InterAction, as well as associate director of finance at Eurasia Group.

Brinton holds a master’s degree in taxation and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida International University.
