Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Affiliate Expands In Nebraska

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Good Life Group has acquired Don Peterson and Associates — bringing together two established real estate firms serving eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

The transaction expands The Good Life Group’s footprint in the greater Omaha metropolitan area and results in a combined operation of 10 offices and nearly 400 affiliated sales associates.

Don Peterson and Associates, founded in 1956, provides residential real estate, land development, commercial real estate and property management services across eastern Nebraska.

Jennifer Bixby, who began her real estate career in 2006, has led Don Peterson and Associates since being appointed president and designated broker in 2016.

Following the acquisition, the firm will operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Don Peterson and Associates.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Good Life Group was established in 2015 and serves markets in Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

Tom Simmons — broker-owner of the firm — said the acquisition reflects shared priorities between the two companies.
