Corcoran Affiliate Launches In Central Virginia

Corcoran Group has expanded its affiliate network with the launch of Corcoran Wiley — a Charlottesville, Va.–based brokerage formerly known as Wiley Real Estate.

The firm is led by broker-owners Justin Wiley and Peter Wiley and will serve clients across central Virginia, including the greater Charlottesville area.

The announcement was made by Pamela Liebman, president and CEO of Corcoran Group.

Wiley Real Estate was founded in late 2016 and has focused on high-end residential sales, farms, estates and land transactions in central Virginia.

Under the Corcoran affiliation, the firm will continue operating from its existing offices in Charlottesville and Orange County.

Peter Wiley began his real estate career in Charlottesville in 2005 after working as a congressional staffer and lobbyist in the venture capital and biotechnology sectors in Boston and Washington, D.C.

Justin Wiley joined the family real estate business in 1992 — following work managing and advising large farms and historic estates in the region. Together, the brothers bring more than 50 years of combined real estate experience.

Corcoran Wiley plans to grow its agent base and transaction volume under the new affiliation while maintaining its focus on estates, working farms, historic properties and land.

The firm also intends to expand its presence in luxury residential and urban markets throughout Charlottesville and surrounding counties.
