United Properties starts construction on active adult neighborhood

United Properties announced the groundbreaking and start of construction at the Amira Lowry, a new active adult rental community in Denver, according to a news release.

The four-story community includes spacious residences from alcove studios to two-bedroom layouts with contemporary finishes, in-unit laundry, private balconies and storage, the news release states.

“Amira Lowry represents the next evolution of the Amira brand,” said Dave Young, vice president, senior living development at United Properties. “Lowry’s strong sense of place, walkability and access to green space make it an ideal setting for an active adult community that supports independence, wellness and meaningful social connection.”

 The community includes fitness and wellness spaces, activity rooms and lounges. Other amenities include gardens, walking paths and outdoor courtyards. 

Construction of the community is overseen by Weis Builders, with the community to be managed by Greak Lakes Management.

Belmont Village opens latest luxury community in Florida

Belmont Village Senior Living recently announced the opening of its latest community, the Belmont Village Aventura, in partnership with development firm Turnberry, according to a news release.

The luxury, 11-story community is located in South Florida, and marks the third project by Belmont Village in the area. The community represents a “new era” of luxury senior living for Belmont Village.

“Belmont Village Aventura marks an important milestone in our growth in South Florida and our ongoing commitment to redefining senior living,” Belmont Village CEO Patricia Will said in the news release.

The community is designed with “timeless contemporary architecture” blending stucco, tile and stone. Overall, the property includes 153 luxury residences with two floors of penthouse residences.

Belmont Village Aventura includes studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom spanning independent living, assisted living and memory care. Amenities at the community include a chef-led restaurant, bistro and bar, a fitness center, screening room, art studio, salon and a resort-style pool.

New boutique memory care community opens

The St. Ives Hometown Living of Johns Creek memory care community recently opened in Johns Creek, Georgia, according to a news release.

The community is designed “as a true home,” aiming to provide intimate and consistent memory care, with research-informed design like bright orange accent walls paired with blue tableware to improve visual contrast, the news release states.

The development partner on the project was Solinity.
