Bonaventure Senior Living starts construction in Oregon
Bonaventure Senior LIving announced the start of construction of a new senior living community in Corvallis, Oregon, according to a news release.
Bonaventure of Corvallis will include 62 independent living units, 62 units for assisted living and 27 units for memory care apartments. The community will span 163,000 square-feet in a four-story construction.
Private apartments will be available in multiple layouts and including kitchenettes, climate control, emergency call system access.
Amenities at the property will include a restaurant-style dining space, bistro, golf simulator, fitness center, library, theater room, salon and barbershop, activity and game rooms and outdoor courtyards. Residents will also have access to transportation and weekly housekeeping and laundry services, the release said.

King Bruwaert House adds primary care clinic
The senior living community Bruwaert House recently announced the opening of a new medical practice on campus, according to a news release.
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at Burr Ridge has opened within the community’s newly updated clinic space. The practice is open to both senior living residents and the public. In total, the practice includes three physicians and one nurse practitioner on-site during the week.
The primary care team consists of Vincenzo Bartolomeo, MD, Arsalan Kabir, DO, and Thomas Mallidi, MD.
AHEPA Senior Living opens latest affordable community
AHEPA Senior Living, the senior living company of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), announced the grand opening of new senior living apartments in South Bend, Indiana, according to a news release.
The company celebrated the opening of the AHEPA 100 Phase 2 Apartments, which brings online 72 units of affordable senior housing, with units spanning 680 to 703 square-feet designed for accessibility and comfort. Amenities include walk-in showers, full-size kitchen appliances, emergency call system access and energy efficient features.
On-site amenities include a community room, fitness and wellness room, multipurpose space, laundry facility, indoor mailboxes, garden beds, a gazebo and parking.
The development follows the 50-unit AHEPA 100 Phase I community to provide senior housing in South Bend. ASL manages 3 HUD Section 202 communities in Michiana, including two in South Bend and one in Mishawaka, totaling 172 units.
