EverTrue plans independent living expansion
Nonprofit senior living provider EverTrue announced the addition of independent living apartments at the Cumberland Crossings community in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, according to the company’s website.
The layout calls for one- and two-bedroom floorplans with private patio or balcony space. The existing Cumberland Crossings building will also be refreshed and expanded with a new fitness room, an aerobics and yoga studio, additional amenity space and a heated indoor pool.

Clearwater Living opens Los Angeles community
Clearwater Living recently announced the opening of The Leonard on Beverly, a new luxury senior living community in west Los Angeles, according to a news release.
The seven-story building includes 100 apartments spanning independent living, assisted living and memory care with a range of layouts, spanning studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedroom floor plans.
“The Leonard on Beverly is an ideal residence for urban seniors who choose to maintain their active and social lifestyle well into retirement,” said Danielle Morgan, Clearwater Living’s CEO. “The community is uniquely situated in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills. Our residents will have access to a variety of programs and engaging activities to participate in at their leisure with the peace of mind knowing that they will receive the support they need, when they need it.”
Amenities include a rooftop terrace with grilling stations, an activity lawn, a fireside lounge, Savor Restaurant, a casual bistro, an exhibition kitchen, a fitness studio, a spa, a salon, creative studios, a library, a theater, a learning center, outdoor terraces and onsite parking.
New 55+ affordable community opening in Colorado
Koelbel and Company recently announced a ribbon cutting ceremony for Forte, a new 55+ affordable multifamily community in Lone Tree, Colorado, according to a news release.
The community is designed to support accessibility, independence and quality of life for older adults 55 and up.
“This community reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality housing that allows older adults to live independently while remaining connected to the community,” said Luke Canon of Koelbel and Company. “Forte is an important step in expanding affordable housing options and meeting the evolving needs of the Lone Tree community.”
