Thrive Senior Living plans Tennessee development

Thrive Senior Living announced a new senior living development on Snow Hill Road in Ooltewah, Tennessee to build an 80-acre campus.

The campus will include 400 senior living units, including 55+ single-family homes for sale, independent living cottages, independent living apartments, assisted living and memory care.

Design of the community centers on servicing residents that want hospitality and lifestyle options while staying connected with family, friends and healthcare providers.

“The Brooks Dairy site is exactly the type of opportunity we look for: a strong local market with a meaningful need for quality senior housing, and a site that allows us to create something truly unique and enduring,” said Alan Moise, Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Thrive Senior Living. “We are grateful for the many partners who helped bring this closing together and excited to move the project into its next phase.”

The single-family homes will be developed by RP Communities with financing provided by WesBanco.

Rogerson Communities awarded grant for independent living, memory care project

Rogerson Communities recently announced a $665,000 grant to support the redevelopment of a memory care community in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, according to a news release.

The grant was issued by the Charles H. Farnsworth Trust, Bank of America and N.A., Trustee, and the redevelopment will help transform the company’s flagship community, Rogerson House.

The redevelopment will add 41 affordable independent living units and 66 memory care units that will replace existing services on the 3.2 acre campus. The new six-story building will also include space for Rogerson’s memory care social day program, a fitness center and a 20,000 square-feet of outdoor space, the news release states.

Judson Senior Living to add memory care neighborhood

Judson Senior Living recently announced the addition of a memory care neighborhood at its South Franklin Circle senior living campus, according to a news release.

The neighborhood reimagines memory care, the release states, and includes small-home models with advanced care and technology to support safety for memory care residents. The new neighborhood will include three small homes that will serve 36 residents with space for additional growth in the future, the news release states.

Residents are expected to be able to move into the community in late 2027.

“This neighborhood represents so much more than a new building,” said Judson President & CEO Kendra J. Urdzik. “It reflects our deep belief that every person living with memory loss deserves to be known, valued and supported in ways that honor who they are. We are creating a place where residents can continue to experience joy, meaningful relationships and moments of purpose, while families have the confidence and peace of mind that their loved ones are surrounded by compassionate, expert care every day.”

REDICO and Ciel Senior Living announce joint venture in Delaware

REDICO and Ciel Senior Living have announced a joint venture to develop a new senior living community in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, according to a news release.

“Our involvement in this project and our ability to attract financing necessary to make it possible reflects renewed investor interest in this industry,” said Dale Watchowski, CEO of REDICO and American House Senior Living. “This project also reflects REDICO’s broader senior living development strategy, which combines institutional capital, experienced operating partners and targeted market expansion in high-demand markets.”

The project is “one of several” new senior living developments between REDICO and American House Senior Living.

The community will include 144 luxury suites with independent living, assisted living and memory care, and is set to open in 2028.

Village On The Isle will add new campus in Florida
