Willow Valley Communities sets construction start date

Willow Valley Communities recently announced plans for construction to start on the Mosaic in November of this year, according to a news release.

The Mosaic project is a 20-story urban 55+ community designed to attract active older adults in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The project includes 55+ units spanning 16 floor plans designed by Gensler.

Residences include floor-to-ceiling windows, modern finishes, chef’s kitchens, large master suites, flexible layouts and customizable elements. Residences range from 1,592 square feet to 3,338 square feet. The downtown urban high-rise community is set to open in 2029.

Forefront Living hits sales milestone as development continues

Not-for-profit senior living provider Forefront Living recently announced that The Landmark at Presbyterian Village North, a luxury addition to the senior living community, is already 70% reserved, according to a news release.

The luxury addition is set to open in 2029 and will include 81 independent living residences within a broader 216,000-square-foot neighborhood at the community. The expansion includes contemporary design and finishes, with large windows, outdoor patios and balconies, along with stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets and in-unit laundry.

The five-story building will also include a 2,000-square-foot “sky lounge” with water and city views, a new dining venue and a lifestyle center.

New 55+ community opens in Texas

The Woodland Cottages, a 55+ gated development in Sherman, Texas, is now open, according to a news release.

The project was developed by Carbon Shepherd Development. The community features one- and two-bedroom homes with attached garages and zero-threshold showers. Some homes include fenced backyards.

Amenities at the community include a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool and pickleball court.

Trilogy Bickford opens wellness and social club at 55+ community

Trilogy Bickford, a 55+ community in Lincoln, California, recently celebrated the opening of a new wellness and social club, according to a news release.

The Ridge Wellness and Social Club aims to offer residents wellness amenities and social spaces that spur interaction and social connections among residents. Amenities at the community include a restaurant and bar, resort pool, wellness and fitness spaces and sports courts.
