Era Living names CEO
Seattle-based Era Living has named Nisan Harel as its CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Harel succeeds founder and former CEO Eli Almo who, alongside his wife Rebecca, will continue to serve as co-president and co-founder.
As CEO, Harel will head the company’s eight communities. He has been with the company for 17 years, most recently as chief operating officer.
Sinceri announces leadership change
Sinceri Senior Living announced it has elevated CEO Chris Belford to co-chairman.
The new role “recognizes Chris’ strategic leadership and vision, which will continue to help guide Sinceri into the future,” according to a press release.
“Chris is recognized by our partners and his peers as an industry leader and he will continue to be a driving force for the company. Chris and I look forward to working with April Young and Micah Gerber as they assume day-to-day control of the company while continuing in their roles as co-presidents,” Jonah Sonnenborn, co-chairman at Sinceri, said in the release.
Gloria Dei Senior Communities announces chief policy officer
Gloria Dei Senior Communities announced Erin McCullough has joined its team as chief policy officer.
“We’re excited to have Erin join the Gloria Dei Family in an extremely important role as chief policy officer for our communities,” CEO Eddie Perez said in a press release.
McCullough brings over 25 years of experience to the position, and most recently served as operations manager at Marathon Health–Delaware Valley Health Trust.
Teton AI appoints president
Teton AI, an AI company focused on fall and safety incident reduction, appointed Katie Grant as its president in the U.S.
Grant has more than 20 years of experience across nursing, senior living operations and healthcare technology, and “has led enterprise customer growth for large, multi-state operators,” a press release states.
Alongside Grant, Teton AI has added Kristian Zakarias and Chris Domenick as senior leaders.
Charter Senior Living promotes senior vice president
Charter Senior Living has promoted Kandice Alcorn to senior vice president of health and wellness.
Alcorn “oversees Charter’s health and wellness strategy across its portfolio, focusing on clinical excellence, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance and innovation in resident care,” according to a press release.
Alcorn has more than 30 years of clinical leadership experience. Prior to joining Charter Senior Living, she served as chief operations and clinical officer at Frontier Management.
Distinctive Living welcomes regional VP
Distinctive Living welcomed Alyson Mulryne as its regional vice president of North Jersey communities.
In her role, Mulryne will provide strategic and operational leadership across Distinctive Living’s North Jersey portfolio, a press release states.
Mulryne brings more than 30 years of experience to the position and has led multi-site assisted living operations across New Jersey, the release states.
Discovery announces new VP of sales
Discovery Senior Living announced it has brought on Jake Raptosh as its vice president of sales.
Raptosh will report to Brennan Hughes, senior vice president of sales.
Raptosh brings “deep senior living sales experience” to the position, most recently serving as the vice president of sales and marketing at Elegance Living. He has also worked at Holiday by Atria and Holiday Retirement, where he oversaw “sales performance across 62–84 communities in the West Division and multiple regions nationwide,” according to a press release.
HDG adds three regional leaders for growth
Health Dimensions Group added Mackenzie Christopher, Meredith Humphrey and Brittany Bell as regional directors of operations to prepare for additional growth.
In the positions, all three will provide leadership for a portfolio of senior living communities, focusing on operational excellence, the resident experience and occupancy growth, with their primary responsibilities including”managing and mentoring executive directors, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and executing budgets and implementing company-wide strategies,” a press release states.
“These three team members share our organization’s dedication to older adults and recognize the importance of establishing and maintaining trustworthy and high-performing systems and processes,” Erin Hilligan, HDG chief operations officer, said in the release.
SRG appoints memory care director
Senior Resource Group has appointed Kay Keeler as the memory care director at its Maravilla at The Domain location in Austin, Texas.
In this role, Keeler will lead the community’s Enliven memory care program and oversee day-to-day operations while advancing SRG’s person-centered approach to dementia care, according to a press release.
Keeler brings over 20 years of experience to the position. Since joining the community, she is credited with “playing a key role in guiding assessments, developing individualized care plans and fostering a compassionate, high-performing memory care team,” the release states.
