National Health Investors appoints board member
National Health Investors (NYSE: NHI) announced Lilly Donohue has been appointed to its board of directors effective Feb. 17.
Donohue is currently the president and CEO of Everstory Partners, according to a press release. She previously served as the CEO of Holiday Retirement.
“We are very pleased to welcome Lilly to the NHI board of directors. Lilly brings a diverse set of skills to the board, including an extensive background in senior housing operations as the former CEO of Holiday Retirement,” NHI President and CEO Eric Mendelsohn said in the release. “We expect her contributions to be immediate and add significant value as the company is well-positioned to generate strong organic and external growth over the long term.”
Senior Source Consulting Group announces SVP
Senior Source Consulting Group, a senior living specialty consulting group, announced Dena Boheim has joined as senior vice president of operations and client success.
Boheim’s appointment “marks a significant expansion of SSCG’s service platform, integrating marketing intelligence, digital strategy, CRM data and brand positioning into the company’s already robust community and portfolio performance enhancement framework,” a press release states.
Boheim brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. She previously served as vice president of marketing at Lifespace Communities, vice president of client services at Attane and director of marketing at Benedictine, the release states.
Kendal appoints senior director of development
The Kendal Corporation has appointed Laura Hester as its senior director of development.
In her role, Hester will “lead the organization’s planning and development activities, manage the development team and oversee the provision of comprehensive and integrated services that support the development, expansion and repositioning needs of Affiliate communities across the Kendal System,” according to a press release.
Hester brings more than 27 years of experience, alongside “architectural training, financial acumen and turnkey project management experience across the full development lifecycle,” the release states.
Health Dimensions Group expands interim leadership team
Health Dimensions Group announced Nick Fucile is joining its team as the senior director of workforce solutions and Zach Volz has been promoted to director workforce solutions.
“This investment and expansion in our workforce solutions team will support HDG’s continued focus on recruiting and attracting high quality talent for interim leadership and executive search clients,” Sarah Friede, HDG senior vice president of workforce and consulting services, said in a press release.
Fucile brings over a decade of experience to the position, and previously served the organization as regional director of operations and regional director of sales and marketing, the release states. Volz most recently led HDG’s centralized recruiting team, serving clients throughout the country, according to the release.
AHEPA Senior Living announces leadership promotions
AHEPA Senior Living announced it completed three promotions across its enterprise.
The promotions include Sandra Dzankovic, who was promoted to vice president of operations at AHEPA Senior Living; Tammy Evans, who was promoted to vice president of operations at Hellenic Senior Living; and Andrew Kaffes, who was promoted to vice president of government and external affairs.
“As demand for affordable senior housing and assisted living continues to grow, experienced leadership is essential to sustaining operational excellence across our communities and supporting our long-term growth while advancing our public policy priorities that strengthen our mission,” Board Chairman Ike Gulas said in a press release.
Lorien Assisted Living names regional sales director
Lorien Assisted Living has named Victoria Rosier as its regional sales director.
In her role, Rosier will lead occupancy growth and sales strategy for all six Lorien assisted living communities, with her primary focus being the promotion of Harmony Park services, according to a press release.
Rosier previously served as the executive director at Harmony Hall and has more than a decade of dementia experience, the release states.
Lument expands senior housing team with two hires
Lument announced it has hired Alex Florea as managing director and Kevin Lukehart as director to support its expansion of its real estate investment sales platform into seniors housing.
Florea will lead the team, working closely with John Sebree, head of real estate investment sales, and Aaron Becker, head of seniors housing and healthcare debt production, according to a press release.
Prior to joining Lument, both Florea and Lukehart worked at Blueprint HCRE, where they originated and executed more than $1 billion in seniors housing transactions.
EPOCH Senior Living welcomes executive director
EPOCH Senior Living announced Alexandra Newcomb has been appointed as the new executive director of Bridges by EPOCH at Pembroke.
In her role, Newcomb will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of memory care and assisted living community. She succeeds Lori Luzzo, who was promoted to area director of operations, according to a press release.
Newcomb previously spent more than six years as an assisted living certification specialist for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, the release states.
Bridges by EPOCH at Sudbury appoints senior advisor
Bridges by EPOCH at Sudbury announced Kristin Johnson has been appointed as its senior advisor.
In her role, Johnson will “work with families to help them understand their needs, share vital resources and guide them in providing the right level of support for their loved ones,” according to a press release.
Johnson brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, and she previously served as the community’s life enrichment director.
Anthem names clinical services director
Anthem Memory Care has named Tanya Olson as its clinical services director for its Franklin Place community.
In her role, Olson will “oversee residents’ health and well-being by coordinating clinical care, supervising caregiving staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting programs that support residents’ physical, emotional and social wellness,” a press release states.
Olson brings over 13 years of experience to the role, and previously was the regional clinical specialist for Charter Senior Living in Illinois and Wisconsin, according to the release. She has also served as executive director for Senior Lifestyle in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
