Pacific Retirement Services names CEO

Pacific Retirement Services announced Sloan Bentley has been selected to serve as the organization’s president and CEO.

Bentley brings over 40 years of senior living experience to the role, according to a press release. She co-founded Seniority Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of American Baptist Homes of the West, and has held leadership positions including CEO, chief operating officer and chief revenue officer of mission-driven national firms, the release states.

“Sloan is a mission-driven leader who understands how to balance strategy, culture, governance, and performance,” Larry Boeck, chair of the PRS board of directors, said in the release. “Her experience leading complex organizations, strengthening quality outcomes, and partnering closely with boards positions PRS well for continued growth and impact.”

Gloria Dei Senior Communities announces CEO

Gloria Dei Senior Communities announced Eddie Perez has accepted his new role as the organization’s CEO.

Perez joined the organization in May 2025 as chief operating officer and is attributed to being “successful in implementing new and innovative policies throughout all of Gloria Dei’s independent living, personal care and memory care communities,” according to a press release.

Perez brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to the position.

WesleyLife names new president

WesleyLife announced it has selected Allison Pendroy as its next president, effective June 1.

Pendroy currently serves as the operator’s chief operating officer and will succeed Rob Kretzinger, who will be retiring.

Pendroy joined WesleyLife in July 2023 and has “played a key role in strengthening operations, supporting communities and services and advancing organizational priorities across the nonprofit network,” a press release states. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the position.

ASHA elects executive board

The American Seniors Housing Association announced it has elected a new executive committee board.

The committee consists of top industry leaders in senior living, a press release states.

The committee includes: Richard Hutchinson, CEO of Discovery Senior Living as chair; Stephanie Harris, CEO of Arrow Senior Living as vice-chair; James Gray, president of Bridgeport Property Group as treasurer; Trever Sweeney, vice president of Ventas as secretary; Taylor Hernandez, chief strategy officer of Senior Star as Seniors Housing PAC Chair; and David Schless of ASHA as president.

Senior Living Communities announces VP of facility services

Senior Living Communities announced Rusty Yaple has been named the vice president of facility services.

In his role, Yaple will oversee strategic planning, maintenance, operations and capital forecasting across the organization’s properties, according to a press release.

Yaple brings over 21 years of experience to the position. He joined the team at Wellmore of Tega Cay in 2015 as director of facilities services, the release states.
