Ventas names interim leader
The Ventas (NYSE: VTR) executive vice president, general counsel, ethics and compliance officer and corporate secretary announced her resignation effective June 26.
Carey Roberts will join Blackstone as senior managing director and general counsel of real estate, according to a press release.
She will remain in her position until the resignation date, the release states, after which her duties will be assumed by Kevin Dahl, who has been with the company since 2011.
Plante Moran Realpoint gains capital markets leader
Adam Heavenrich has joined Plante Moran Realpoint to lead its capital markets practice.
In this role, Heavenrich will “lead and expand Plante Moran Realpoint’s capital markets practice, focusing on structured finance and sale-leaseback transactions across corporate, investor, senior living and health care,” a press release states.
Heavenrich more than three decades of experience advising senior housing owners, nonprofit organizations and investors, the release states, and founded Heavenrich & Company.
Benchmark community names new executive director
The Village at White River Junction, a Benchmark Assisted Living and Mind & Memory Care community, has appointed Danielle Nickerson as its executive director.
In her role, Nickerson is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community.
Nickerson brings over a decade of experience to the position. She previously served in management positions at senior living communities offering the full continuum of senior care, as well as dedicated assisted living communities in Northfield and Woodstock, a press release states.
University senior living community welcomes executive director
Broadview at Purchase College, a university retirement community located on the campus of Purchase College, has appointed Robert D’Elia as its executive director.
In his role, D’Elia is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community.
D’Elia most recently served as the corporate director of rehabilitation at The Osborn in Rye, where he oversaw sub-acute, long-term care and outpatient rehabilitation services across the full continuum of care and was in charge of staffing, budgeting, compliance and resident satisfaction, according to a press release.
Connecticut CCRC names director of memory care
Meadow Ridge, a continuing care retirement community in Redding, Connecticut, has named Cristina Cardenas as its director of mind and memory care.
In this role, Cardenas will “oversee the quality of care and services that Ridge Crest provides to residents in its award-winning mind and memory care neighborhood,” a press release states.
This is a promotion for Cardenas, who has been with Meadow Ridge since 2010.
