Wesley CEO announces retirement intentions

Kevin Anderson, CEO of senior living and care provider Wesley, announced plans to retire in the summer of 2027, according to a news release.

Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Wesley oversees four communities serving roughly 1,600 older adults. Anderson joined the organization in 1999 and spent years helping to grow the company into the organization it is today.

During his time with Wesley, Anderson oversaw the launch of Wesley Health and Home Care and the redevelopment of the original Des Moines campus.

“Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with caring and talented staff, a leadership team that helped bring my dreams to life, outstanding Boards who recognized the need for growth and devoted residents and business partners who believe in Wesley’s mission,” Anderson wrote in a letter. “Although my journey at Wesley will be coming to an end, this ministry of serving older adults needs to continue to grow.”

In preparing for the move, the Wesley board of trustees started a plan that includes appointing a CEO search committee and engaging with third-party groups. This will form the basis of a search committee to find a future top leader.

New CEO named at Holy Family Senior Living

Holy Family Senior Living has named Mary Hahn as the company’s next CEO, according to a news release.

Hahn joins the senior living provider after stints with The Ohio State University Medical Center and Henry Ford Health System while also bringing over two decades of healthcare service. Most recently, Hahn served as vice president of health and wellness at Bell and Evans in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania.

She succeeds Len Weiser, who served as consultant and interim CEO during the transition. Weiser will end her time with the organization in late September, the release states. Holy Family Senior Living oversees affordable housing communities in five counties and a life plan community.

Commonwealth Care Alliance names VP, CMO

Commonwealth Care Alliance has named Pablo Hernandez as its vice president and chief medical officer.

In this role, Hernandez will “provide valuable clinical leadership as CCA deepens its integrated, personalized care model to coordinate services and address the social drivers of health for its members across Massachusetts,” a press release states.

Hernandez brings more than 20 years experience to the role. Most recently, he was chief medical officer for the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center.

American Healthcare Management Group strengthens executive team

American Healthcare Management Group has promoted Nick Jasmon to executive vice president as it continues to invest in its leadership team.

In his expanded role, Jasmon will “assume broader oversight of community operations across the organization’s growing portfolio while continuing to play a key role in the company’s strategic growth initiatives,” according to a press release.

Jasmon previously served as vice president of business development, where he “successfully led AHMG’s growth strategy, cultivated strong relationships with equity partners and asset owners and helped expand the company’s presence in new markets,” the release states.

DIG Architecture celebrates 20 years with three associate appointments

Alongside its 20^th anniversary, DIG Architecture has promoted Dalina Cruz, senior interior designer; Wally Harris, senior project manager; and LoriAnne Jones, senior project manager to associates.

“True collaboration means exploring the details and opportunities that others might overlook, ensuring every design decision is anchored by its human impact,” DIG CEO Jeff Venezia said in a press release. “As we scale our operations across all of our offices in New Brunswick, Philadelphia and Queens, this new leadership group brings the precise blend of technical excellence and civic purpose needed to anchor our growth and deliver lasting value to the communities we serve.”

Spectrum gains SVP of sales

Eric Varin has joined Spectrum Retirement Communities as its senior vice president of sales.

“I’m honored to join a company with such a strong foundation and look forward to partnering with our community teams to build on that success,” Varin said in a LinkedIn post.

Varin previously served as the vice president of sales at Grand Living. Prior to that, he served as the senior vice president of sales for The Aspenwood Company.

12 Oaks promotes vice president of sales

12 Oaks Senior Living has promoted Rebecca Cline to vice president of sales.

She will be working alongside senior vice president of investments, Paul Wang, to build out the company’s asset management platform, according to a press release.

“She will provide expertise and support for our curation strategy through underwriting, analytics, budgeting, and business intelligence. Combined with her interpersonal savvy, these strengths will be essential as we continue building our reputation across the industry as a best-in-class partner that delivers financial optimization and value creation,” Wang said in the release.  

Senior Housing Services expands

Real estate brokerage Senior Housing Services has opened an office in Buckhead, Georgia and recruited Atlanta-based industry veteran Will Childs.

Childs brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience to the position, including 18 years focused on senior housing and healthcare, according to a press release.

His background includes JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and co-founding OHC Advisors, the release states.

Massachusetts CCRC names memory care director

New Pond Village, a continuing care retirement community in Walpole, Massachusetts, has named Christen Baker-Bagnell as its assisted living and memory care director.

In her role, Baker-Bagnell will “work closely with residents’ families, physicians and specialists to ensure each resident receives individualized, high-quality care,” a press release states.

Her appointment follows the promotion of the previous director, Tasha Thomas, who is now the CCRC’s assisted living and memory care associate executive director, according to the release.

Lenbrook announces security director

Lenbrook, an intown community in Atlanta, Georgia has named Trevor Moss as its security director.

In this role, Moss is responsible for overseeing Lenbrook’s security, concierge and transportation teams to “maintain a safe and welcoming environment for the community,” according to a press release.

Moss joined the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), “building a distinguished career leading complex criminal, counterintelligence and counterterrorism operations both domestically and internationally,” and most recently served as resident agent in charge in Australia, where he expanded NCIS capabilities across Oceania, the release states.
