Real Brokerage Adds Top San Diego Agent Jason Cassity As Chief Growth Officer
Jason Cassity is moving onto the executive team at The Real Brokerage from a top-producing agent and team leader role in San Diego, as the cloud brokerage creates a new chief growth officer position to drive agent growth and engagement.
The Real Brokerage Inc. (NASDAQ: REAX) announced the appointment Monday, saying the newly created role is designed to accelerate brokerage growth and deepen the company’s agent-focused culture. Cassity has been a real estate agent for 13 years and previously served as a Growth Ambassador at Real, working between the field and the C-suite to attract agents and strengthen community engagement, according to the company announcement.
As chief growth officer, Cassity will oversee Real’s brokerage growth strategy, with responsibility for scalable agent acquisition, activation and engagement programs. He will work closely with the company’s Growth Ambassadors and top agents to support expansion across U.S. and Canadian markets.
“Jason’s experience as a top-producing agent and as the leader of a highly successful team gives him unique insight into what agents need to grow their businesses,” Tamir Poleg, chairman and CEO of The Real Brokerage, said in the announcement. “His expertise will help us accelerate growth while ensuring our platform provides agents with the tools, support and opportunities they need to succeed at every stage of their careers.”
Cassity, who built and led a high-performing team in San Diego before joining Real, is stepping away from personal production to focus entirely on the new leadership role.
“I am incredibly honored to join the leadership team to help architect the future of this company,” Cassity said. “Three and a half years ago, I bet my career on Real because I saw a vision that was bigger than a traditional brokerage. Today, I am stepping away from my personal production to ensure that every agent who joins us has the tools, the technology and the community they need to achieve their own greatness.”
The move continues a recent shift by Real to put active and former agents into governance and operational roles. Since the start of 2026, Orlando team leader Ken Pozek has joined the company’s board of directors and coach and former team leader Dusty Oglesby has moved into the role of vice president of agent learning and development.
For brokers and team leaders, the creation of a chief growth officer role signals how competitive the agent recruiting and retention landscape has become, particularly among virtual, revenue-share-focused brokerages. Growth leaders are increasingly being tasked not just with recruitment but with improving agent onboarding, education and community — all areas where Real is trying to differentiate.
For Real’s existing and prospective agents, having a former top producer in a C-suite growth position may influence how the company structures compensation plans, technology rollouts and support programs. Tighter alignment between executive leadership and field agents can impact everything from which markets the brokerage targets next to how it allocates resources between tools, training and incentives.
