Real Estate One Partners With Realtrends Verified Michigan Team

The Real Estate One Family of Companies has entered into a partnership with the Welch Real Estate Team — expanding its presence in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.

Founded in 2021, the Welch Real Estate Team includes more than 40 real estate professionals who provide residential brokerage services across the region, assisting with home purchases and sales.

The team reported nearly $120 million in annual sales volume on the most recent RealTrends Verified Rankings, good enough for No. 10 statewide volume placement in Michigan.

“We are pleased to welcome the Welch Real Estate Team to the Real Estate One Family of Companies,” said Dan Elsea, president of brokerage services for the Real Estate One Family of Companies. “This partnership supports continued growth in the Monroe market and provides the team with access to additional tools, technology and operational support.”

Welch Real Estate Team’s Monroe, Mich., office will continue operating at its current location under the Real Estate One brand.

Clients will remain with their current sales associates — with services supported by the Real Estate One Family of Companies’ systems and resources, leaders said.

Tom Long will manage the Monroe office and oversee integration of the team into the brokerage’s operations.

Corey Welch, associate broker of the Welch Real Estate Team, said his leadership role will remain the same following the merger.
