Realtor.com Launches Platform To Boost Mls Value, Collaboration

Across the country, MLSs are looking for ways to provide value and show their worth to subscribers, especially as the discussion around private listing networks and off-MLS transactions continues to ramp up, and Realtor.com is stepping up to assist MLSs on that mission.

On Wednesday, the residential listing portal announced the launch of Realtor.com+, an initiative it describes as a “collaborative home search platform built in collaboration with the MLSs.” 

Realtor.com says the new offering is designed to improve the home search experience and strengthen the value of both MLSs and the real estate professionals who use them. 

“Realtor.com was born from the partnership between the National Association of Realtors and MLSs, and for three decades we’ve championed an open marketplace that delivers transparency and meaningful value to consumers and professionals,” Damian Eales, the CEO of Realtor.com, said in a statement. “Realtor.com+ modernizes that legacy by putting more powerful tools in more agents’ hands than any product in our history, keeping professionals at the center of the transaction and giving MLSs the valuable AI-driven capabilities and member tools they need to lead the industry forward. But this isn’t just another tool – it’s a step forward in strengthening the marketplace, empowering MLSs and agents and enhancing the search experience for consumers.”

At the time of the launch, Realtor.com said the platform is live for the over 20,000 subscribers of the North Carolina-based Canopy MLS. In addition, Realtor.com said it has agreements signed to expand into 15 other MLSs in the coming months.

These additional MLSs include Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS), Central Texas MLS, Hive MLS, MLS United, Bonita Springs–Estero Realtors, All Jersey MLS, MLSListings Inc, bridgeMLS, MLS of Southern Arizona, Memphis Area Association of Realtors, Hawaii Information Service, Spokane Realtors, Bay East Association of Realtors, Contra Costa Association of Realtors and Southern Missouri Regional MLS.

According to the release, Realtor.com+ provides the subscribers of participating MLSs with tools and data insights integrated into existing workflows, the ability to search the MLS with filters, share listings, chat with clients and gain real-time insights into a clients’ search activity all while maintaining the agent, brokers and MLS’s branding across each page.

For consumers, Realtor.com says the platform delivers a guided, low-friction path through the entire homebuying process, while providing them with a direct connection to their agent at all stages of the transaction.

Realtor.com said it leverages the capabilities of Zenlist’s technology, which it acquired in July 2025, to create the platform’s agent-client collaborative capabilities. In addition, the firm said it has secured integration agreements with Realtors Property Resource, Docusign and Hover to provide agents and consumers with smoother workflows and transaction experiences.

Subscribers of participating MLSs can access Realtor.com+ via app, desktop and directly through their MLS dashboard.
