REMAX has made some changes to its leadership team. On Wednesday, the company announced the promotion of Chris Lim to president of REMAX.

He will continue to serve as the firm’s chief growth officer. Prior to this promotion, Lim had served as REMAX’s executive vice president and chief growth officer since February 2025.

“I’m excited to take on this role and continue building on the momentum we’ve created,” Lim said in a statement. “REMAX has an iconic brand, an unmatched global network and a tremendous opportunity to lead the industry forward. I’m honored to work alongside REMAX affiliates worldwide to drive growth, innovation and long-term value.”

In this new role, Lim will oversee all aspects of the REMAX global brand and he will report directly to REMAX CEO Erik Carlson. The company said that Lim’s promotion underscores its commitment to “investing in leadership that supports its affiliates worldwide, strengthens its competitive position and drives its long-term growth strategy.”

“Chris is a proven growth leader with a deep understanding of what drives success for agents, franchisees and brands,” Carlson said in a statement. “Since joining REMAX, he has brought clarity, energy and momentum to our growth strategy. Elevating Chris to president and chief growth officer reflects both his contributions and our confidence in his vision for the future of REMAX.”

Earlier in his career, Lim held leadership roles at Christie’s International Real Estate and @properties

In addition to Lim’s promotion, REMAX also announced that Pierre Montagna would be joining the company as the vice president of global sales and that Lisa Sennstrom would be joining as the director of global sales.

Montagna, who is fluent in five languages, comes to REMAX with experience in franchise development and global capabilities. He previously served as the head of U.S. development at Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons.

“REMAX agents are known as some of the most trusted professionals in real estate, and the REMAX network is one of the strongest in the industry,” Montagna said in a statement. “In franchise sales, everything comes down to trust and the power of the network, which is exactly why I joined REMAX. I’m excited to represent this global leader and help strengthen and grow its footprint around the world.”

Sennstrom joins REMAX with 16 years of experience in real estate sales,  leadership, operations and strategic consulting. She has previously held roles at Century 21 and ERA Real Estate and she most recently served as vice president of operations at JPAR Real Estate

“Collaboration is everything in this business,” Sennstrom said in a statement. “Great brands are built on relationships rooted in trust and authenticity. REMAX has that foundation, and I’m excited to immerse myself in the culture and help grow the brand’s footprint and the strength of its community.”

REMAX said these leadership appointments mark the next phase of its growth and modernization strategy. In the past year, REMAX has made several changes to its leadership team, including the appointment of Travis Saxton as executive vice president of strategy, the hiring of Don Kottick to serve as the president of REMAX Canada, the addition of Daniel Dennis to serve as the senior vice president of Global Service and the appointment of Tom Flanagan as chief digital information officer.
