California Clearwater now under new ownership
JLL Capital Markets announced it arranged the sale of Clearwater at Riverpark, a 136-unit Class-A independent living community in Oxnard, California.
The community was sold by Harrison Street Asset Management, and the buyer is an S&P 500 company focused on senior housing, according to a press release.
JLL Capital Market’s sales and advisory team representing the seller was led by Senior Managing Director Aaron Rosenzweig and Senior Director Dan Baker, the release states.
Investment group acquires California community
Blueprint sourced the debt capital and acquisition of a 198- unit independent and assisted living community in Modesto, California on behalf of an “experienced investor.”
The buyer used the acquisition to continue growing its California senior housing portfolio and kept the existing management in place.
Harbor Retirement Associates retains community management following acquisition
Harbor Retirement Associates will continue the management of HarborChase of Boynton Beach following the recent acquisition of the property’s real estate by Range Equity Management.
HRA Senior Living “retains full operational responsibility for HarborChase of Boynton Beach, ensuring no interruption to day-to-day operations, staffing, resident care or life enrichment programs,” a press release states.
“We are excited to work with Range Equity Management as the new owner of the property. The partnership presents unique opportunities to expand lifestyle amenities for our residents and families,” Sarabeth Hanson, CEO at Harbor Retirement Associates, said in the release.
Financings
Ziegler closes $45.6M financing
Ziegler announced it priced nonprofit Carolina Village’s $45.6 million Series 2026A Bonds.
The proceeds from the financing will be used to refund “an outstanding Series A bank bond series; fund a $3.3 million comprehensive sewer lining project; fund $11.7 million of design, pre-construction, permitting and related development expenses associated with a future expansion project; pay a portion of interest accruing on the 2026A Bonds; fund a debt service reserve fund; and pay certain expenses incurred with the issuance of the Series 2026A Bonds,” a press release states.
“Carolina Village has a long history of serving older adults in Western North Carolina and this financing helps position the community for its next chapter,” Tommy Brewer, managing director in Ziegler’s senior living finance practice, said in the release.
CFG finances over $1.8B in first half of 2026
CFG announced it completed more than $1.8 billion in loans across the first half of 2026.
The loans are comprised of 119 total deals, including 29 bridge loans, 26 HUD loans, 16 accounts receivable facilities and 48 commercial loans, spanning skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, memory care, behavioral health, multifamily and commercial lending nationwide, according to a press release.
“We’re entering the second half of the year ahead of the pace we set in 2025, reflecting the continued strength of our lending platform and the confidence our clients place in CFG,” said CFG Bank President Erik Howard said in the release. “Our growth is driven by the breadth of our capabilities, the depth of our relationships and our ability to execute across a diverse range of financing solutions. We look forward to building on this momentum through the remainder of the year.”
