Vertyx Adds Ai-powered Borrower Retention Tools To Servicing Platform
Mortgage servicing technology provider Vertyx on Tuesday announced the release of a new Borrower Relationship Management capability that aims to help servicers and investors identify borrower retention and recapture opportunities earlier in the loan life cycle.
The new feature is part of Vertyx’s end-to-end mortgage servicing platform, which is designed to help institutions monitor portfolio performance and measure borrower engagement.
According to the company, the tool uses a “proprietary blend” of indicators to flag mortgages within a servicing portfolio that may require attention. Servicing and retention teams can use these signals to run outreach campaigns across borrower touchpoints like online portals and monthly statements.
The company said that the platform tracks offer-level engagement, including digital views and clicks.
Borrowers can view offers through Vertyx’s borrower portal, where messages are tailored to individual loans and presented separately for each loan in the event that a borrower has multiple mortgages.
“Servicing teams need tools that help them stay ahead of borrower needs while keeping the experience helpful and human,” said Ayo Opeyemi, co-founder of Vertyx. “Borrower Relationship Management builds on our platform’s foundation to help servicers engage homeowners in the right moments through the channels they already use.”
On the investor side, the Borrower Relationship Management capability uses artificial intelligence–driven analytics to assess a mortgage’s return and risk profile, including changes in loan performance and delinquency scenarios.
Investors can review portfolio-level trends and evaluate individual loans to see servicing details such as payment history and cash flow, the company said.
“Servicing data has traditionally been difficult for investors to access in a timely, usable way,” said Moyin Opeyemi, co-founder of Vertyx. “By bringing loan-level value signals and engagement insights together with portfolio visibility, investors and servicers can prioritize attention and respond earlier when performance or payoff risk starts to shift.”
Borrower Relationship Management is delivered as part of Vertyx’s broader servicing platform, which includes Edge, its core servicing system; myAxis, the borrower portal; and Lynk, the investor portal.
