I've spent most of my years not liking cats… and I was never sure what the reason was behind this. Well, I'm pretty sure it was because I've always had dogs and never cats, so I never really understood them that much. But as I grew older, I realized that they are very funny beings, and I really enjoy being around them. Just by observing them, you can understand how they think and why they are so funny.

To begin with, they do whatever they want. They aren't like dogs that have to be with humans all day long to feel good and safe. They are very independent and follow their gut all the time. They don't care about anything or anyone besides themselves. 

Also, they are very smart. They know exactly what to do to get your attention and can read the room without actually entering it. They're flexible, which allows them to run away when things get difficult and spend a lot of time outside, smelling and walking around the neighborhood.

Well… now that I think about it, these could be the features of the cats that I've known, rather than features of cats in general. But, more or less, I'm on the right track.

The craziest thing that I've found about cats is that they know how to be funny when they want to be, of course. The fact that they love to push things off tables or counters shows you that they have a sense of humor and know exactly when to pull it off. That's an amazing thing that I've never seen in other animals. And I truly love that about them.

Although they can seem cold and more distant, we all know that deep inside, they have a lovely, warm heart that loves to be cuddled during nap times, and especially during those long and cold days.
