A/c Unit Not Being Fixed
Location: Atlanta, GA
I live in the heart of Georgia, and i live in an apartment complex. For the last 2 months i’ve been having issues with my a/c and i’ve constantly been putting in requests for maintenance. Four different people have come into my home and have found a different issue everytime. Each yielding the same result of my ac not getting fixed. The issue is half of the rooms don’t get air conditioning and i’ve explained that to the office. The temperature on the thermostat stays above 80 on some days, and even with the air conditioning on it only changes a number or two. This causes me to have a higher power bill even when it’s set to auto. When it gets really hot outside the temperature in my home mirrors it, and the air conditioning just ends up blowing warm air. In the lease agreement they state that there is air conditioning. I’ve sent in multiple maintenance requests,and i have also emailed the leasing manager with multiple times with no response. I’m not very aware of the legal side of things so i’m wondering what i can do to help this. Just looking for some advice :).
