A "self-insured" Mennonite Woman Caused An Accident That Totaled My Car And Im At My Ropes End

Location: Ohio

My car was being driven home by my partner when am 82 year old mennonite woman pulled out in front of her, causing an accident resulting in my vehicle being totaled. They accepted fault at the scene and were also cited by the responding officers. I was not in the vehicle, and my partner is not insured on my vehicle as she is not a frequent driver and has her own fully insured vehicle. The accident happened on the 16th, so I am just about 10 days with no transportation. Being that the other party is self insured, I havent been in contact with any insurance agents or anything because they simply do not have one. The best I've gotten, is that I just today recieved a phone call from the church's decon (I guess their church acts as their insurance company) and he just asked if I've talked to my insurance yet and then told me he wanted to speak with them. I told him that my insurance is aware of the accident and that a claim was started, but that I hadn't used my deductible or pursued use of my insurance as this is what was told to me by the son in law of the woman who caused the accident (he is acting as her proxy im assuming) because they would just need me to get some numbers to them and then we could meet to speak. I then called my insurance to ask them to call him since he wanted to speak with them. They did. He apparently wanted a settlement number from my insurance before moving forward. I dont know what to do. I'm a 100% disabled veteran and I used my vehicle for 1099 courier work because conventional work is difficult for me now. I was also in the process of listing my home and preparing to move so I could be closer to better va facilities, but I've since had to cancel that because im now without any vehicle and no idea when this will be resolved. My savings are gone and I've been already living paycheck to paycheck because everything is just unaffordable and now I can't even work if I wanted to because I have no way to. Please. Any advice, im like 17 mental breakdowns in and dont know what to do
