Accused Of Alcohol Use At Work- No Testing Just Accusations

Basically i was brought into a meeting and told i was on paid leave for a few days, as the company “interviews” a few people who have “suspected” me of drinking on the job because of slurred “speech and wavering”.

There have been zero behavioral problems, perfect attendance, and no issues other than being accused of drinking. They never once tested me with a breathalyzer or even offered. Basically in the meeting, I explained the reasoning for the wavering (foot and back injuries) over the years at the job working injured and slurred speech as potentially related to medication.

Basically there is zero proof of use, no tests, no witnesses seeing me drink, and only suspicion from people who they would not tell me. I am on paid leave while they interview the people who brought up suspicion and investigate

What are my options, should i contact an employment attorney of they do terminate me with no testing?
