Adult Activities Recorded And Shared Without Consent

All 3 of us are 18M
I was at a house party with the host and another guy. We wanted to do a threesome after the party ended. After everyone left, or so we thought, we engaged in the aforementioned activity.
2 days later, one of the guys from the party met with me at school and told me that someone had STAYED after the party, somehow managed to record us, and had shared it to god knows how many people. He said that he had gotten literal death threats in class for this.
Later on I started getting these interactions as well, and people laughing at us and bothering us... for what?
They won't leave us alone and I really don't know what to do. I know this should blow over eventually, but in the meantime I feel like I can't show my face at school and I am afraid for the other two.
I know I should probably report this to the police but I don't know what's wrong with me I'm just really scared to do it, I'm a very shy person and I'm not good at communicating.
It also doesn't help that one of the guys here has homophobic parents, and I don't know what will happen if they find out.
