Advice On How To Find The Details Behind A Case (not Mine)
So I have a family friend who is dating someone that is a legally registered sex offender in the state of Utah, I was able to find him on there with his name and what he did but it’s vague and just gives me the legal Utah code and just says first degree felony.
The reason I want to know is that he is around the girls family and there is children around, very young kids and it makes me uncomfortable knowing he was convicted of rape but not knowing the details ( if it was a child or not, not exactly the details of the crime ).
The whole family acts like he has done nothing wrong or at least pretends he’s does not have a criminal record but no one actually knows what he did to be convicted.
Is there a way to find out, it won’t fully make me comfortable around him but it at least make it a little less stressful for me when the kids are running around and not be so stressed and on guard so much just knowing the severity or was the a child involved.
