Are We Entitled To This Money ?

We are a unionized car repair shop. In our union contract, there is a line stating we are due $0.75 on all flat rate hours. How flat rate work functions is you performing an oil change that pays 1 hour and you get it done in 30 minutes, you’re still paid 1 hour worth of pay rather than the 30 minutes it took to perform. Within the shop of roughly 20 men, only 2 are hourly. If they do an oil change that pays 1 hour; but they get it done in 30 minutes, they’re only compensated for 30 minutes as they’re hourly. The hourly technicians still produce “flat rate hours” based on that same set up, but they’re only compensated for their hourly rate. Within the contract it shows since 8/8/09, all technicians are due $0.75 for each flat rate hour produced. I have gotten together with other techs to review our pay stubs and none of us have been compensated for portion of the contract. Are we due a large amount of back pay for all of the flat rate hours we produced ? Thank you for any input !

Edit- I’m unable to put in a photo of the contract with the exact verbiage, but it states as follows: “effective 8/8/09 and each year thereafter, $.75 per hour on all flat rate hours produced. This increase is not paid on clock hours for guarantee hours. This increase shall count in the computation of the employees entitlement that are paid by his average, such as vacations, holidays, etc. (this was agreed in the prior labor contract)” The guarantee is a guaranteed payment of at least 35 hours times your hourly rate each week, assuming you only produced 20 hours, you’re compensated for 35 at least. Clock hours are the hours you’re physically in the building. If you’re in the building for 80 hours in a week, but you only produce 50 hours as a flat rate tech, you’d receive 50 hours of pay. Just wanted to clarify that so all terms are easily understood.
