Can My Bf Sue Me If I End Things And Move Out Without Notice?

I tried to breakup with my boyfriend a while back. On the surface it was over something dumb. In reality it was due to other reasons that have unfortunately stacked up over time. While we were reconciling he said if I leave he'll sue me because he can't afford the apartment on his own. He has also said that if we broke up were putting my name on the lease and taking his off. I never agreed to that. My name isnt on the lease. It was but one day I didnt want to go into the office and I waited in the car. When my bf came back from the office he told me he signed the new lease. I would've come in if I knew if it was being signed. He said something about how I should've come in, in the first place.

Anyway, can he sue me? He says he can't afford the rent for our apartment on top of all of the other bills and that I could afford it. Barely. I dont want to stay here. I want to leave. I don't want to add my name to the lease because I dont want to stay here. I want to leave.

Also he has like 6,000 in credit card debt that we racked up and I've been waiting for it to be paid off but I just cant wait anymore I'd rather send him the amount of the bill than stay. We racked up the debt ordering doordash. He deals with the finances which was my mistake. He has said for me not to worry about it when I ask. I ask because I'm so tired of having this debt hang over my head. He's blamed me before that its my fault we were in debt. Which it is I don't deny, I was lazy, depressed, had crazy anxiety and couldnt keep a job. I legit couldnt bring myself to do anything it was horrible and I'm ashamed. I'm different now, a lot better. I just want to go out on my own now. I tried and its been good but I need to be on my own for myself. I am grateful for what he's done for me but I dont think I have to do what he says and put my name on the lease. Giving him a notice of 30 days and agreeing to send him money for the credit card debt bill is as far as I'll go. I'd even send the full amount of the bill every month.
