Constant Neighbor Harassment

Starts with animal issues and turns into personal harassment: bear with me

I’m at the end of my rope with my neighbors. For context, I live in between two siblings. For three years, we’ve been dealing with their animals coming onto our property and damaging our yard, making messes all over our lawn, and scaring my kids. They have dogs and cats. The dogs have never been leashed in the entire time I’ve known these neighbors, and they pride themselves on their animals being “neighborhood animals”. Last spring they started to release these animals daily onto our property, which has now spiraled into full harassment. Animal control became involved and issued several citations, which then turned into both sibling neighbors refusing to leave us alone. They’ve continually sent texts to my family and I against our explicit wishes, publicly harassed me in group chats to the neighborhood, spread rumors and lies on social media, and enlisted other neighbors to badmouth me. Four times we have record of them being on our property to scream at me and refusing to leave after I very plainly told them to many times. We also have several witnesses to these events, who have given statements to police.

One sibling has admitted they installed cameras overlooking our front/fenced backyard properties and my children’s bathroom window. Their sibling on the other side has also installed cameras that watch both my front and fenced backyard. I’ve caught them taking pictures of my open window that leads into my bathroom, as well as recorded me and my children on my own property.

Criminal charges have been pressed on one of their family members for following me into my home to scream at me and my child and refusing to leave after several requests to do so. Since then, my neighbor has flipped me and my children off every time we leave/enter our home. She also makes a point to come and stare at us if my children and I go outside to play, which has now forced us to remain inside for the privacy and safety of my family.

I have blocked all of their family on social media, and my stalking neighbor has created burner accounts to specifically follow/stalk me online, thereby overturning my efforts to block them.

Is there any advice on how to get them to leave us the hell alone? They’re dead set on making our lives miserable, and my little family and I don’t deserve that. I’m not okay with anyone surveying my property, especially when it’s a gated backyard. And they’re such an unhinged family that I’m certain they’ll do whatever it takes to get their way. Whatever that means for them, it isn’t good for us, and I sincerely worry about the safety of my children and I around such neighbors. They have zero boundaries concerning harassment, and have already been warned by police several times to leave us alone.

Would love any advice you have. Sorry for the trouble. It’s a stupid situation dealing with stupid people and I’d just like my home to be safe and peaceful.
