Crazy Neighbor

my neighbor passed naturally and his house was put on the market— unfortunately some insane landscaping guy bought the lot next door— bulldozed absolutely everything (was a 120 year old fruit farm), tried to put money against my own house ( saying he’s gonna buy it out from under me ) and just off the bat let us know that he’s NOT a kind neighbor. that was about six months ago and since the he’s been patrolling our property line, every once in a while stepping over (i have photos and videos as evidence), going to the corner of where our property meets and firing off full magazines ( which wouldn’t be a problem if he hadn’t already been aggressive towards us ), taking pictures and videos of everything and nothing all on our property. at one point we planted some grass over the old driveway to where my ex neighbors house USED(bulldozed it) to be; just to make it look nicer ya know— homeboy put in a new driveway on the other side of his property and where my current driveway and old ex neighbors driveway line up there’s an easement because we used to share it. he wasn’t using it and we still had rights to cover it so we did. just for landscaping sake.. he’s a landscaper he’ll get it right? nope. he took his truck and trailer and drove over and backed over it about 15 times right after we finished tilling. not that big of deal, just kind of an asshole thing to do so we left it alone. after that, he started SPEEDING (i’d say around 25-30 mph) down the driveway. we live out of town so we have chickens, dogs, rabbits, and cats so that’s already slightly a danger but not that big of deal because we keep them well contained. our driveway is rock and gravel so the faster you go, the louder. we’d go out the next day— he’s kicked the driveway up EVERYWHERE, like the only reason you can tell it’s a rock driveway is due to the rocks forced INTO the ground from the weight of our cars and the imprint in the middle of the stretch, otherwise you’d have no idea. in response to that we put a gate up. ever since then he has been patrolling the property lines, gun in hand, snapping pictures of whatever he can whenever he can and spinning rocks when the gate is left open. we have signs posted, we haven’t reacted negatively or verbally said anything in response. but i feel threatened. my little niece and nephew ( who are just learning how to walk and talk) are frequently over and i don’t like the idea of this man showing up in my treeline with a handgun snapping pictures of random shit. it’s creepy. it’s weird. i’m tired of it and i don’t know what to do. i have evidence but i don’t want it to amount to a few misdemeanors and him being right back at it.
