Deceased Moms Loan Company Won’t Tell Me Anything
Hello all I am located in Texas and I’m dealing with my recently deceased mother’s finances. She had a ridiculous title loan on her shitty car and when she passed, nobody was willing to take it over so we gave them a call to get it settled and they are stonewalling us. They refuse to tell me anything. We told them they are welcome to come get the car as it’s just sitting in front of the house, not being used. After a couple months they came in the middle of the night and took the car without our knowledge. They didn’t get the keys or anything which was very strange. I almost thought an angry neighbor called about it but no, it was the loan company. Now, I’m attempting to contact eztag to close her account and they need proof the car was towed so I called the loan company back and asked for the documentation. They refused because “with all due respect, you are not my client” and said I’m a “third party” like…huh? What do I do? I’m at a complete loss.
