Doctors Office Receptionist Told My Employer The Date Of My Last Physical + About An Appointment I Had On Monday That I Canceled

Location: Pennsylvania

Dropped off papers at my doctors office for her to fill out a health assessment form. My last physical was in August, so it hasn’t been a year yet so it’s still valid, I didn’t need to see her again they told me I could come in and drop them off. My boss is eager for me to start (I used to work for her before so we know each other well) but I can’t start without the health assessment. My boss offered for her to give them a call to see basically when they think the papers will be ready by because which I told her she could do. I talked to my boss after and she told me they told her the date of my last physical and that I had an appointment for yesterday that I cancelled. I cancelled because they told me they don’t do TB tests there so I went to an urgent care instead and they told me I can just come in to drop off papers, I don’t need an appointment. The physical is valid so it’s not a big deal, but I’m just a little shocked that they’re allowed to do that. Are they?
