Found Out That The Woman Who Told Me She'd Aborted Her Pregnancy Months Ago Lied And May Be Seeking Child Support When The Baby Arrives.

Back in January, I slept with a woman who informed me she was pregnant two weeks later. We communicated and eventually agreed she would abort the pregnancy, which I sent her money for. Later on, she told me she'd actually had a miscarriage rather than gotten the abortion, but that it was done regardless. Two days ago, I found out that she'd been lying and was actually still pregnant the entire time. She's flipped between telling me she's seeking child support and then telling me she doesn't want anything from me. I'm in a state of shock, having seen her a couple weeks ago and she didn't look pregnant, along with witnessing her consuming alcohol, as well as telling me she was drunk or going to do drugs on another occasion, which I took as further confirmation she definitely wasn't pregnant.
I recognize that if my paternity is confirmed I'll be required to pay support, I'm just wondering what my next steps should be and if the facts of this case might alter circumstances in any capacity. Thank you.
