Got Served With Protection Order. Now What?

Location: New Hampshire

Like the title states, got served with a PO the other day. Tight knit community, so as embarrassing as it was to have two cruisers show up in the morning, I am now dealing with the real possibilities ahead. I am not spending 4k which was an estimate to represent me. Just cant do it.

I am on a fixed income and dealing with what I assessed as a type of person with a "victim complex" the first time I even spoke to him... and he proved my point. Feels threatened because I told him to fuck off twice after gaslighting us for most of the summer. Never threatened or implied violence.

He admitted to my GF that he will continue to do his passive agressive maneuver with a company badged truck until I apologize. Hes literally backing a company truck against my license plate frame. Every day for 4 to 5 months.

I asked somone in the know since he wont stop, what are my options? They told me. Its a company badged car. You call who owns it. I did so to a zero response and waited another 10 days to follow up my call with an email. Sent all pictures I mentioned and they requested to send, explaining the issues. Like I had said to him multiple times I JUST WANT THIS TO STOP, before the inevitable happens ---actual damage. Because I got no response, I followed up...he has mentioned that stalked him in reponse to those two moves. ???

I told them company then after the delay, to advise how to continue, and I states I dont want the guy to lose his job or anything, he has kids...I just want it stopped.

Since calling. Got a protectctive order served to my door. The date on the PO is the same as the only time in the past 4 to 5 months he has parked his truck like an adult.

I just need to feel better about this whole setting?

What to do? What to expect moving forward?

Are these sort of hearings a long drawn out session or just a pause and present, judgement type of setting?

Thank you in advance for any info you can provide to help me understand the process outside of vague google seatches.

Last I checked swearing while walking away isnt a crime, but he seems to be pulling ...the victim card.

I have never experienced anything like this. Anyone have an experience with this that could shed some light on what to expect [not looking for unknowns or anything too deep into hypotheticals--- just KNOWNS-- please! And thank you in adanvnce
