Had A Car Accident In October And Now Im Told That The Man Who Hit Me Died In April

Hello! Ive been in the middle of a lawsuit since my car accident last october where I was rearended by a tow truck. I have suffered several injuries including, but not limited to a torn rotator cuff that required surgery. My lawyer called me this afternoon and advised me that she was recently advised that the man who hit me has passed away. Apparently he passed in April about a week after we officially filed the lawsuit and she was only informed over the last week. I understand that she now has to go to another court to try and get them to appoint someone as the head of his estate so they can still sue but im very confused on how this will affect my lawsuit. Am I still suing his insurance or am I suing his estate directly? Should I be worried about whether or not ill get a pay out now? The insurance company wasnt even denying fault and this should have been relatively open and shut but now im not so sure since he has now unfortunately passed. Should i be suing the company that owned the tow truck?? Im not really sure what comes next. My lawyer did explain some of it and didn't sound very worried but since ive spoken to her ive just been more confused and a bit worried since I have medical treatments out on a lein.
