Hotels.com Offered Me 1,250 Usd, Claimed Typo After Formal Acceptance

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

So, I was offered $1,250 USD in goodwill compensation by a hotels.com live agent, after I had denied the previously offered $150 USD in goodwill compensation (the $150 had been offered to me two or three times, all of which I formally denied).

I immediately thought to myself… “well, that’s quite a large jump from $150…. But, if it was a typo, how did they manage to add a 2 and a comma in there so carelessly to turn $150 into $1,250?”. So, I decided to give them a few minutes (4, to be exact) to notice and correct said amount, before I decided to formally accept the offer. Then, it took them another 8 minutes to decide to retract this offer, by claiming it was a “typo error” and essentially blamed ME for it by stating that it was “due to the amount I mentioned earlier” (whatever that means??).

My question is simply, under Colorado law… Do I have a good shot at taking this to small claims/arbitration? I have already exhausted my attempts to settle it with the higher ups of the Expedia group and have been told both times that it was a typo and that they would not honor the 1,250 dollar offer that was made and formally accepted.
