How To Deal With Potential Wage Theft?

I (20m) recently started working for a Dollar General that is very.. messy. The shifts are kinda just thrown together whatever which way, the store is a complete mess, the back room is stocked to the brim with honestly probably partially expired product at this point? But that's just to say, I knew it would be a mess going in, and after job hunting for six months prior with no success, I wanted to work bad enough to not care where hired me.

The first day I worked, I was unable to clock in using Dollar General's terminal. I was suggested to work the shift off the clock, with the suggestion that the manager would go into the system and manually input my hours after. This was on the 25th of July, Saturday. It is now (as of posting this), August 3rd, and my hours have not been logged into the system. I texted my manager two days ago, asking for this to be corrected, and after a full day of radio silence, she messages me again at 8:30AM today asking me to come in for an unscheduled shift. Completely ignoring my prior message about the unlisted shift. I get paid on the 7th, so unless I am mistaken about what constitutes wage theft, it will officially be wage theft after that.

What should I do here? I have screenshots of her asking me to work on the 25th with timestamps, and I'm asking a coworker who was with me if he remembers me being there on the 25th as well for outside verification. Is the worst case scenario just accepting that I lose a day of pay? I would seriously rather not, I'm not exactly making a ton of money as it is, but.. well, I've never dabbled in the legal system before. I wanma get my ducks in a row before saying "Wage theft!" and looking for a lawyer or something.
