I Have An Expunged Arrest Record Yet It Still Hurts Me For Employment Background Checks Location: Usa

I have an arrest record of being accused of SA by a girl that used to groom me. She was 25 and I was 17 at the time.

Anyway I got arrested released, case went cold after a week with no movement on it.

Declined to prosecute

Case closed

Arrest expunged

I’m now trying to apply for OCS and I must declare this on my application form.

I am prior service and still possess a secret clearance. It was adjudicated on my initial SF-86 However after speaking to OCS board members they can choose however they deem fit to Deny a commission based upon their deciding such as too many traffic infractions giving the idea of a pattern of misconduct.

I explained my self to a captain when I first enlisted and when I explain the story what I was accused of doesn’t hold up at all.

But nevertheless it’s still a really bad look on me even being accused and investigated for misconduct.

What can I do?

And yes the woman that hooks up with high schoolers is now an elementary teacher
