Location: Virginia; Is Sending Unwanted Flowers A Legal Issue?
Location: Virginia.
I have an ex who is sending me flowers, repeatedly. It was a mutual break up. We agreed to block each other and not have contact. Last Monday he sent flowers as an apology and begged me to call him. I unblocked him to text that I appreciated the apology, but did not want any further contact. Wednesday flowers arrived again, so I contacted the florist and they agreed not to deliver to my address. Friday flowers showed up again from a different florist so I called them, same deal. This Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the flowers came UPS and since I was at work they were just left on the porch. I called the vendor but they couldn't block my address on their system.
I'm getting creeped right out. Is this something a lawyer would be able to help with? On one hand, it's just flowers. On the other hand, I do not want to hear from this person again. What would I ask a lawyer to do? I have legal insurance through my work is this that sort of thing?
