My Uncle's Property Was Vandalised Due To Very Strange Political Reasons, He's Abroad And Feels Like Nothing Can Be Done

Location: New Hampshire.

My uncle is my stepmom's brother, but has been in my life since I was very young. Basically, our family has been trying to figure this out for the past few days, as he's still abroad and will be for a while.

His kids are attending universities on the other side of the country. No one was at the property when it happened.

Basically, my uncle is Finnish-American, and proud of it. He has multiple Finnish and American flags on his property. I am not Finnish, but my stepmom is, but as far as I understand, Finland has had 0 part in colonising countries or genocide. Not that it matters in this case, but still.

Anyway, my uncle got alerts on his security system about 1.5 weeks ago that something is happening, and people basically tore down the flags, spray painted something about a genocide right across his garage and his house: we cannot exactly read the text itself, but it says something about a genocide, which is the only word we can make out.

The people looked like no one my uncle knows. They also looked quite young, late teens to maybe mid-twenties.

He has insurance, and has been in contact with the law enforcement, who, according to him, have been completely useless in trying to resolve the matter. He has also received anonymous messages harassing him, but again, seems like this isn't really a priority for the police. The looters are still somewhere, likely living their best life.

My uncle has to stay abroad for the foreseeable future as his dad is really not well. His ex-wife doesn't really care, and kids are busy with uni. Police are not doing anything.

What would be the reasonable next steps?
