Neighbor Abandoned Trailer On My Property

Never posted here but thought I would try to get some advice on the best way to move forward with a situation.

Location: Georgia, USA

So I live in a house in Georgia. Moved in about a year and a half ago. When I moved in there was a couple that lived nextdoor. Well I guess they started having some issues and their relationship ended. Their house was a rental property.

I occasionally spoke to the man in the relationship as the woman was pretty avoidant. After they broke off she left and apparently left all her things there too and wouldn't come get them (this is what he told me). But one day he came knocking on my door and said he needed to be out of the house and asked if he could park his trailer in my backyard for a few days while he moved to Florida. He said he was going to get a truck to come back and get it after he drove his stuff down there. He had done favors for me before and always came across as an honest guy so I said ok. He asked for my number and I gave it to him. He said he was going to text me so I'd have his number then he went back to the house and I had to get on a work meeting as I WFH.

The meeting lasted about 2 hours and when it was over I realized I still didn't have a text from him so I went to go find him but he was already gone. So I don't have contact info for him, or an address of where he was going. And I am now stuck with a trailer in my backyard. It has been months and I have heard nothing. The leasing company that owns that house has already been renovating it so he is not coming back there for anything.

What can I do in this situation? I have heard I should call the local police non-emergency line and report it abandoned. Will they tow it as part of the process? Or would I need to then contact a company to have it towed? And then who pays for that? The trailer has a GA license plate on it so it is registered in the state.
