Owes $32k In Child Support But He’s Getting A Settlement Check From A Wreck

Location: Texas and Nevada
I live in Texas and I’m the custodial parent. I have full custody. My kid’s dad lives in Nevada. He’s only ever seen our child 3 times in the past 11years. Maybe twice a year they’ll do a FaceTime video. I will say I’m not preventing their relationship. It’s all on the dad to make an enough. But the dad owes $32k in child support. He has only ever paid maybe 10 times since child support started.
Question: the other day it was my kid’s birthday and their dad called. Well towards the end of the phone call, he asked to speak with me. He informs me that he got into a wreck with his 2 other kids(from a different woman) and that they’re all 3 getting settlement checks. Is it guaranteed that child support with take the dads settlement check if he lives in a different state?
I plan on calling child support today and letting them know. The dad is fully aware that child support is most likely going to take his settlement check.
