Policeman Stalking Me For 10 Years, What To Do?

Recently received an anonymous local text with a downloaded TikTok video of Steve Urkel saying, “I know I’m not worthy of you, but I just can’t help loving you. It’s like wanting to touch a star, you know you’ll never reach it but you just gotta keep trying”. At first I thought this was an old stalker from 3+ years ago, someone I’d went on a date with and they wouldn’t stop messaging/following me. After 5 years of not replying to them, they slowly stopped. But this is a different person, it’s a policeman 20+ years older than me.

My friend was with me and added his number and found his Snapchat username. I looked and couldn’t find it because he was already blocked. Then I found out his name through NumLookup, the name didn’t look familiar but I searched it on Instagram and found he was following me and I didn’t follow back. He’s been following me for a while because my Instagram’s been on private for 5 years. We had one follower in common; his daughter. I scrolled through her pictures and found him, the same person on his Snapchat highlights. They had pictures together, she said he was her dad, and he had on a local police uniform. I guess he scrolled through her followers and followed me 10 years ago?? I don’t know her that well, never hung out together so I blocked both of them.

I’m assuming he found my number through his work as a police officer. I vaguely remember him sending me snapchats 8+ years ago but it’s been so long I don’t even have anything saved. I don’t remember what he sent me then either, but I blocked him after one or two snaps. I was in college then, so I had random classmates saved and didn’t think much of it at that time.

Is there anything I can do at this point to protect myself? I’m already going to contract someone to install a security system at my house and I carry a taser with me. He probably knows my address, and so much more information.

Between now and 10ish years ago, he hasn’t directly sent me messages that I’m aware of so I’m very confused. He’s followed me on multiple social media platforms. They’re all private now, but I’m definitely going to delete my accounts or remove my followers if I don’t talk to them.

Edit: I have him blocked on Snapchat and deleted most of my social media, wasn’t using it much anyway. I changed my number on Snapchat to a TextNow number
