Protective/restraining Order
Location: Mississippi
I’m needing to file some kind of protective or restraining order against an ex of mine. He is insanely manipulative and narcissistic. I have been receiving harassments nonstop for almost a year now. Whether it be hateful messages, love bombing to get me back, sending money to my Apple Cash, finding other ways to message me, adding me on other socials. In the most recent text, he has said “I’ll see you in December, Champ” which feels like a threat. He knows I’m going to an event in December from stalking my profile, as well as mentioned my dog dying which he would only be able to know by stalking my Instagram profile. Am I able to file a restraining order against him for cyberstalking / harassment + that threat. Another issue is that he lives in a different state than me. I’m in Mississippi and I believe he is in Utah (he could have very well moved from there but last I knew he was in Salt Lake City)
