Roommates Felon Boyfriend Moved In

So I am 20F and live in an off campus apartment building near my college I live with two other girls also 20F. When I went home for the Christmas break approximately 5 weeks one of my roommates moved in her boyfriend without my knowledge or my other roommate’s knowledge. Some back story he has beat up my roommate 2 times to the point the neighbors have called the cops for DV she refused to press charges he left for the night and was back the next day ( it’s not my place to judge) he has made threats to me and my other roommate. But I talked to my landlord on Monday and she has a conversation with her and him and he told our landlord that he now has rights to live here even tho he does not pay rent or is on the lease and that if our landlord tried eviction they will have to evict them both which will take 90 days. The part that has me fearing for my safety is the fact that he has 3 felony convictions for DUI, 3 for false ID, 2 Arrests for Domestic Violence, 2 girls have restraining orders on him and he has a charge for assault on a police officer. I just wanted to know what my rights are as a tenet I pay 1000 dollars a month to be scared to go to sleep.
